Special day~

Hey everybody,

I just got back from Ipoh. It had been a really hot day. Good for hanging clothes but not good for enjoying. Had been sweating all the way back in the car. Thank God my room isn't that hot. Hehe..

Well, today is my birthday and I must say yesterday till today had been very grand and meaningful moments of my life. My friend Kelvin planned to have sleepover at Aaron's house and (unintentionally) planned a birthday celebration for me. Haha. It started of by going to Aaron's house to put our stuff.


Aaron's family had just bought a dog. Her name is Fabbie. Very cute.


Then we went Jusco. Just nice there is a flower and leaf exhibition. Nice flower.


Then we had movie. Then one more cars of friends plus my two beloved cousins, Edrea and Erica came over to Ipoh. We then went to "1919" to have dinner. This is the best dinner I've eaten this sem. I think its much much much better and nicer than western or Japanese food. I guess cause I'm a Chinese? Haha. We had fried brinjo (excellent), salted egg chicken (favourite), mix vege belacan (unique), black pepper deer meat (normal), taufu (quite big and yummy), butter prawn (saliva dripping). Haha. It was so funny that when my friends all wanted to plan something, they have to ask me to go to the toilet to avoid the surprise. But I can read their mind after that though.. Haha.


Then we had game session in Aaron's house. To past time till 12am. We had some bacardi with sprite. It was my first time drinking so much (2 small cup). The portion is 50% bacardi 50% sprite. It tasted horrible. But everybody are suppose to drink. It's like the "highlight" of the night. So, ok la.. Have to drink.


Well.. For me, I'm still strong and conscious. But these 2 friends, their face turn red. Haha.

We played many games la.. The last one was the craziest. TRUTH OR DARE!!! Gosh.. If you choose truth, maybe still ok la.. But if you choose dare, gosh.. need to kiss people. Lol.. This one cannot share the pics.. Keke..


"tak tak tak.. " the clock strikes 12am.. There comes one of my favourite cake.. Secret recipe's "new york cheese" cake. Haha. The cake was wonderful seriously. After that, slowly all go back.

So, the night ends like that. Well after that, on the bed, Kelvin and I had a good chat till 230am though. And then today had a wonderful breakfast. Ya.. I bought a new racket dy. Keke. I think its quite a good deal. Yonex Carbonex 6800, free string and grip, RM115. This is the first time buying racket myself though. Hehe..

Hey everybody,

Today was the last day of class before mid sem. As usual, most people would go back and some will stay back to do some work. I'm in the stay back category. Well, not to say staying back isn't fun, it will be fun too catching up with projects and work and of course badminton!! I can't wait to choose my new racket (this Tuesday I think). Haha. Anyway, check this out..


This is our Psychology assignment. Subjective contour. Which triangle you will process first? The "pac men" generated triangle or the outline generated triangle? Our human brains often provide missing information about outlines. Meaning in this case, we tend to look at the “pac men” produced triangle instead of the yellow angle produced triangle. So how? When should we trust our brain? Lolz. Btw, the "pac men" is made of plastic bag cutting and the yellow outline are just some yellow paper.

Ya, actually I got the idea from this.. Hehe..

Hey everybody


Yesterday was another normal day but something hurting happen. Well, since this is my own personal racket, i can say that this is the first time i broke it myself. Well i guess its time. How it broke a? Just a touch with kelvin's racket while we playing badminton yesterday. Not to say very hard also.. but i think maybe it accumulates all this while. Well, i can say im quite ok dy lo compare to my friend, Shean Chuan, he already broke 3 rackets. Lol. So, this coming week end or next week perhaps, I'm gonna get a new one. Hehe.. Maybe get the same one. See first.. Here are some pics..

Good morning. Its 4.55am in the morning. Really late. My group mate and I are still rushing our psychology online conference in V5 cafe. Really jialat. This whole week is all about psychology. Tuesday one assignment on Psychology, Wednesday one online conference on for three days, Friday one assignment on Psychology again. Instead of learning about psychology, sendiri become psycho instead.

Being blind for an hour~~

Hi everybody,

Its been a while since I blog. But this thing that I did today really I need to blog.

I took a course called "General Psychology" and we have assignments every week. But this week was rather different. The assignment requires me and a friend (who didn't take Psychology) to go to the lecturer's office. There our Psychology lecturer will give a task to be done blindfolded. Different people will have different task. Some is to take a lecturer name card from the other block, some is to go pick a stone at the park, and many more..

As for me, my task is to go to the library and borrow a book by the name "Road Development". Then my this friend, Kelvin who came with me, needs to make sure I don't kill myself by falling down or knocking something. What do you think? Nice assignment? Haha..

I was rather scared being blindfolded. So many people will see and asked what is Jesse doing and all. Quite ashamed also. Well, the starting of my journey is by walking slowly to the lift. Well, wasn't that hard. Slowly I walk. Kelvin was walking next to me. He was talking to me along the way which was actually prohibited in the assignment (Shh.. haha). When I reach the front of the block, I was supposed to turn to the left to go to the library, I didn't know so I walk till I feel I'm walking on some place that isn't straight.

So I make a u-turn and walk back on track. Going to the library wasn't that hard. A friend of mind, Gwen, she very naughty. She saw me blindfolded and she stood still see would I knock her. Surely enough, I knocked her. Quite funny also lo. Then as I reach the chancellor hall area, there were many booths there and it was abit hard for me to get through it. But slowly I manage to get to the library.

I went straight to the help desk. Asked, "excuse me". Apparently, nobody reply me. So I decided to look for my friend who is sitting at the newspaper area as there were calling my name. So happen before I go to meet the lecturer, I was at the library. So, I knew who were there. So I call my friend, Stella, and asked her to help me. Help me find on the com for the collection. She brought me to the shelf to look for that book. Praise God, in no time it was found. She then brought me to check out the book and also lead me to the door. Really want to thank this sister in Christ for her help. It was such a blessing to have her being part of my assignment. Haha..

So as I walk back to the block 21. I told Kelvin,

"don't talk to me, let me walk alone. If you talk to me, I would know where is the direction."

So, ok. He didn't talk to me after that. It was really a tough time. I can't really see anything and was just walking by faith. And also touching the building and structure around me to make sure I'm on the right track. It was really tough. At one point, I reach the edge of the pathway, thank God Kelvin quickly stop me, else I will have quite a few cuts and bruises by now. Hehe. So, slowly step by step, I reach the lecturer office. I was so relieved when I took of the cloth that is covering my vision.

I really want to thank God for creating me so perfectly, in this context, eyesight. Life would be so meaningless without vision to see all the beautiful things that our great God had created. Without eyesight, there is just this feeling of fear inside. Fear to walk, fear that someone would attack you, fear to fall, fear to make friends too, and many more... Really, thank You Lord!!


P/S: Ya, having a person to talk to is the best thing that a blind person could have. So, if you would ever see a blind man around, please don't ignore him. At least talk to him.

A memorable Sunday~~

Hey everybody,

Guess what, today is a special Sunday. Why?

Yesterday when we (I as the song leader) were practicing for the Sunday service today, I tried to switch on the projector and computer to project the lyrics so we can see it while singing. But it doesn't seems normal and it doesn't work so I didn't bother to change any settings. Usually, we will always have a PA guy (Henry) to settle stuff like this but he wasn't back that time. So, we sing without projector.

Today, Henry is available and the worship team and Henry all went earlier to church for practice before service. After we practice once through, Henry told me that he had been trying and trying to connect the PC and the projector but it doesn't seems to work. Then, I start to get nervous. A few of us including pastor tried all sorts of way. Many many ways... Like, we try just by pass the router and straight connect to the projector, it also doesn't seems to work. Restart com, also can't, so in the end we start our service without projector.

Well, thank God for His awesome presence. He was with us and I can really feel it. Though somehow my heart wasn't really that prepared for this but God has His plan.

Words from Joe and Pastor Angela regarding today's worship was really encouraging to me. Pastor Angela said that the worship team had step into a better phase than before and had improve a lot as a body, Really thank God for that... I hope that even after I left UTP next sem, the worship team will always be strong. By faith.

The beginning of my CNY was a good start. Thank God the girl's CG (cell group), they all plan to have a CG outing on the night I wanted to leave for airport. So, we went to this place, "Crazy Ice Cream" to eat. The price was reasonable and the food was ok nice la.. Here are some pics..

The night before we left, we had a surprise birthday party for my bro. We bought secret recipe cake for him. My family all were very good in hiding this plan from my bro. We all work together well. Example, when my sis and I enter the house with the cake, my mom was like pulling him nearer to the toilet and said, "what's wrong with your hair? Why like that 1?" (Actually nothing with his hair la..)

Guess what time is this? 5am in the morning. My parents were so loving to stay back at the airport till the very last minute before my bro and I left...


Well, overall this CNY was wonderful but it was rather short but meaningful. Too bad I didn't manage to have visiting with my fellow UTP friends which we use to have for the past few years. Looking forward to our next visiting.. Hehe.. But, I thank God that I had the opportunity to go back Sarawak celebrate this festival with my families where some of my friends didn't even had the opportunity to go back. God bless..
